This was a very personal and honest discussion that addressed his surprise at the diagnosis, as well as how he has worked since to optimize his health in the face of this illness.

Dealing with a diagnosis is an important and difficult life event that as many as 9 million Canadians from all walks of life will be faced with. Indeed, if current trends continue, 1 in 3 Canadians will live with Diabetes by 2020.
